Tyneside - Venetian Scene

A wonderful, richly decorated, naive plaque featuring a stylised scene of Venice with a gondola and an Italianate background. The green corners of the two tone pink lustre border are exceptionally rare and contrast well with the vibrant decoration of the transfer.

Circa 1840-60

Approx - 8.5 inches (215mm) wide x 7.75 inches (195mm) tall.

In very good condition throughout.
